Sheril Green

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Sheril passionately supports individuals and families of all ages throughout their life journey. She comes from a diverse professional background and is a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying), a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario and has a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University. Sheril also has a background in teaching and has been a children’s ministry coordinator for more than 15 years. She believes that instilling faith at an early age is an important component in preparing to cope with the challenges of life.

Sheril brings valuable experience to her clients from her work with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Throughout her many years in the health care field, Sheril has worked with anxious young adults and struggling parents, as well as caring for depressed geriatrics. She is compassionate, collaborative, and caring as she helps her clients through their challenges, thereby enabling them to function confidently with a new perspective. She believes that everyone has inner strengths, despite preconceived beliefs. Sheril uses an integrative approach, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, as she empathically guides clients towards their goals.

Sheril enjoys nature, walking, swimming, and travelling, particularly to destinations where there is lots of sunshine and beaches.
