Dale Harris
Dale is a warm and empathetic person currently completing an MTS in Clinical Counselling at Tyndale Seminary. Dale has nearly 20 years of experience as a pastor, and years of experience as a high school English teacher. Dale employs a number of therapeutic theories and approaches, including CBT, Narrative Therapy, ACT, and the field of positive psychology. He seeks to create a supportive, accepting, and compassionate environment in his counselling sessions. Dale is enthusiastic about working with teens and young adults to come alongside them as they navigate the special challenges that can be part of this unique stage of life. He is also looking to provide therapeutic support to couples and adults, and he has an interest in a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, and helping people in the helping profession and ministry leaders recover from burn out.
Dale holds a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from Briercrest Seminary and a doctorate in ministry through Northeastern Seminary. He is currently in the final year of an MTS in Clinical Counselling, through Tyndale Seminary.
Dale has been married 31 years, and he and his wife have raised three children. He loves to stay active and enjoys going to the gym, running, and playing squash. He is also a musician, a songwriter and an author, and believes very much in the power of creativity and the arts to help us understand ourselves and experience wholeness.
