Stephanie Sennikov

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Stephanie brings a compassionate, grounded, and kindhearted presence to her work, believing that healing begins with connection. She takes a holistic approach that considers the harmony between mind, body, and spirit, while honouring the cultural and generational layers that shape each person’s story. With warmth and authenticity, Stephanie creates a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their story, their emotions, build resilience, and move toward healing. She works with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, attachment difficulties, emotional dysregulation, suicidality, and self-harm.

Stephanie completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Social Development Studies and Psychology with a specialization in Social Work from the University of Waterloo in 2022. She went on to earn her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in 2025. In addition, she completed the Crisis Responder Training through Kids Help Phone in 2023, deepening her ability to provide support during moments of emotional distress and crisis.

She has volunteered at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital in the mental health unit, supporting patients and families, and has also served as a Crisis Responder with Kids Help Phone, offering compassionate support to those in crisis. Stephanie offers counselling through an integrative, person-centred lens, drawing from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Internal Family Systems and trauma-informed somatic approaches. She also provides a faith-based Christian perspective for those who wish to explore their healing and meaning-making within a spiritual framework. She works with teens, adults, and young professionals, supporting them through life transitions, self-worth exploration, and emotional regulation.

Outside of her clinical work, Stephanie enjoys reading, skiing in the winter, spending time with her dog, and travelling. She finds balance and inspiration in connecting with nature, exploring new places, and embracing life’s simple joys.
