Rachel Figeys – Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Registered Psychotherapist (M.A.C.P., R.P.)

Rachel is known for her compassionate, calm, and gentle approach with her clients. She collaboratively works with her clients providing support, encouragement, and hope through their life’s challenges. She has a passion for helping her clients to discover and develop their strengths and abilities for achieving their goals and enriching their quality of life.

Rachel holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She is also a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She works with adolescents and adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, chronic pain/health issues, work stress, and relationships issues. Rachel takes an integrative approach to therapy and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Psychodynamic approaches, Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Compassion-Focus Therapy.

Rachel and her husband have two adult children and a daughter-in-law. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys walking her two Labrador dogs, playing the piano, reading, knitting, and visiting friends and family.
